On May 17, 2022 I became the sixth pilot to have flown above all of Colorado’s 14ers – exactly 4 years and 1 day since I started the challenge in 2018.
It is the greatest soaring challenge in Colorado and a brainchild of SSB pilot Colin Barry and had been open to any pilot since 2008.

Here’s a video of a flight over 12 Fourteeners in the Sawatch Range including Colorado’s highest peak, Mt. Elbert, which is also the second highest mountain in the contiguous United States.
